DEWALT Vented Adult Safety Helmet
The DPG22V offers vented helmets with airflow and comfort in mind. This model is available in white, yellow, and slate, and carries a Type II, Class C rating. In contrast, the DPG22 non-vented helmet offers the same superior protection, but is intended for electrical work and carries the Type II, Class E rating. This model is also available in white, yellow, and slate.
Designed specifically for the DPG22 and DPG22V helmets, the shaped visor is available in smoke, clear, and silver mirror, and meets the ANSI Z87.1+ standard for impact. The smoke and clear models feature a premium AF+ anti-fog coating.
To complement the helmets, the DPG660D dielectric cap mount earmuff features reinforced pivot points, padded earcups, and a low profile, lightweight design. This earmuff carries an NRR rating of 25.
Regarding the construction, the lightweight Polycarbonate/ABS shell ensures durability without compromising on weight, while the EPS foam liner provides an additional layer of comfort for everyday use. The helmets offer a customizable fit with an adjustable articulating smooth-glide ratchet suspension, soft leather chin strap, and an adjustable 4-point retention strap, ensuring a snug, secure, and long-lasting comfortable fit.
These climbing-style helmets provide top and side impact protection against various angles of impact, ensuring coverage where general head protection is needed. The accessory slots allow them to be compatible with a variety of DEWALT hearing, visors, and other accessories, such as the DPG660 or DPG22-SH options.
The helmets meet ANSI/ISEA Z89.1 Type II Class E standards, indicating adherence to high-quality and safety standards in head protection. The liner is removable and machine washable, while the helmet itself should be wiped down with a clean rag and inspected for any damage prior to use.
